After many years in photography, I have just recently started to explore ceramics, with a special interest in raku, a low fire version of pottery.
I am currently studying under Barbara Yarnell at the University of New Mexico. I have additional studies at Santa Fe Clay in hand building under Cheryl Crownover. I plan on continuing my education through summer workshops and additional classes.
I started studying photography in the early 70's at the University of New Mexico where I was able to take classes under the likes of Anne Noggle and Van Deren Coke. I worked professionally at Milners Studio and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Like photography, ceramics gives me the opportunity to explore technique as well as form.
